What will your replacement Medicare card look like?

  • Your new Medicare number will be made up of numbers and letters. 
  • Your Social Security number will not be listed on your Medicare card.
  • You will see your Medicare Part A effective date listed.
  • You will see your Medicare Part B effective date listed.

When will you get your replacement Medicare card?

If you live in the following states, you should of already received your replacement Medicare card:

  • Delaware
  • District of Columbia
  • Maryland
  • Pennsylvania
  • Virginia
  • West Virginia

If you live in the following states, your replacement Medicare card is on its way:
